Choose the acceptance case
Select a controlled enquiry or deal and write the minimum record needed by a second operator: source, organization or person, relevant history, current commitment, owner and dated next action. The operator should not need a private chat to understand what happens next.

| Part | Acceptance question |
|---|---|
| Identity | Can duplicates and related people or organizations be explained? |
| History | Can the next owner see the last promise and unresolved point? |
| Action | Does one person own a specific dated step? |
| Correction | Can a wrong field be corrected without a later sync silently undoing it? |
Run the handoff
- Write a small set of representative records, including a duplicate and an overdue action.
- Ask a colleague to state the next step using only the shared record.
- Change ownership and inspect activity, permissions and notifications.
- Reconcile a supported export and the actual destination fields.
- Compare the same cases in the current spreadsheet or CRM before buying.
When to investigate Pipedrive
Investigate Pipedrive when a defined sales-relationship requirement exceeds the current routine. The profile provides dated official sources and a proposed record test. More contacts or sequences do not repair missing responsibility. A shared sheet can remain an appropriate first version if it passes the real handoff cases.
Keep an honest pilot record
Count unowned records, overdue actions, duplicate follow-up, reconstruction time and recovery effort. Record what was observed in the actual account and plan. Do not report saved time or increased sales unless the later pilot measured those outcomes under stated conditions.
