Three records describe different work
An order for a physical item can depend on a bill of materials, a channel stock reservation and a carrier shipment. Keep the links between these records while preserving their own states. A production completion should not be presented as delivery; creating a label does not prove collection.

A useful exception case
A hypothetical order contains two items. One is available and one needs production. Rehearse a partial shipment, cancellation request and delayed stock event. The customer-facing record should explain which item is waiting, which shipment exists and who can resolve the remaining work. The table names research candidates, not a required four-product stack.
Before adding an integration
- Name the authoritative record for each field and the operator who can correct it.
- Map order, line, SKU, production and shipment identifiers.
- Test a duplicate event, an out-of-order update and a partial completion.
- Keep a manual recovery route until the same sample reconciles in every destination.
