The first practical move

Test the requested resource flow, an unavailable resource and a person who needs help. If an email subscription is offered, document that separate purpose and preference record.

Why the category boundary matters

Messaging handles the requested social step. Email lifecycle belongs in the plan only when there is a separate subscriber requirement. Account discovery is outside this audience task.

What the pilot should measure

Successful resource delivery, help requests and optional subscriber choices, counted separately.

This is a designed example, not a report of customer use, provider testing or measured performance. Replace the assumptions with your actual conditions before making a purchase.

The assumptions used in this example

Trace one item through the workflow

A creator offers a launch checklist in response to a relevant social request. A person who asks only for the checklist receives that resource. A separate invitation to an email series can exist, but accepting the resource is not recorded as accepting ongoing email.

A practical setup sequence

  1. State the requested resource and the event that starts its delivery.
  2. Check that the actual channel and trigger are available to the account.
  3. Prepare a response for a missing link, an unclear question and a person asking for help.
  4. If an email offer is present, define and record that separate subscription choice.
  5. Test the resource-only path as carefully as the optional subscription path.

Part of the recordWhat must remain visible
Resource requestWhat the person asked to receive
Delivery stateWhether the requested resource was delivered or needs recovery
Optional email choiceIts own purpose, source and preference record
Human routeThe owner of help requests and missing resources

What would stop the pilot

Stop if resource delivery is withheld until an unrelated subscription, or if a social interaction silently creates a subscriber record. Correct the flow before expanding its audience.

Measure resource delivery, failures, help requests and separate subscription choices. Report these as different actions; none is automatically a paying customer or an independent visitor.
