Illustrative workflow · not a customer case

An Instagram store with repeated product questions

A product brand receives repeated sizing and stock questions on Instagram. An operator is available, the response purpose is documented and the team keeps a shared enquiry record.

The first practical move

Pick one requested answer and one qualification question. Verify the exact channel trigger and account conditions, then test uncertain questions and human handoff. Keep complaints in a resolution queue.

Why the category boundary matters

A Manychat profile is a research starting point for this social task. It is not an account-data requirement. Apollo should not appear just because the brand sells products.

What the pilot should measure

Time to a useful answer, correct handoff and unresolved questions.

This is a designed example, not a report of customer use, provider testing or measured performance. Replace the assumptions with your actual conditions before making a purchase.

The assumptions used in this example

These are designed inputs, not a measured customer case. Every assessment answer is listed below. Review the assumptions in the fit finder and change them before applying the plan to your team.

Trace one item through the workflow

A shopper asks for a sizing guide. The first response supplies the requested guide. If the next message asks whether a particular fit is suitable, the item moves to the operator with the source and previous answer. An order complaint goes to the issue-resolution queue instead of receiving another promotional response.

A practical setup sequence

  1. Choose one product-question workflow and one eligible social channel.
  2. Write the requested answer and a short branch for an unclear fit question.
  3. Confirm account and trigger availability in the current official documentation and actual account.
  4. Record what was delivered and who receives the exception.
  5. Test a normal request, an unclear answer, a duplicate and a stop request with controlled inputs.

Part of the recordWhat must remain visible
SourceThe relevant post or message and its request
ResponseThe guide or answer actually delivered
HandoffThe unresolved question, owner and next action
BoundarySupport issues are routed to a case rather than marketing

What would stop the pilot

Pause expansion if an unresolved question has no owner, a duplicate causes unwanted repeat contact or a stop request fails. A polished automated answer is not useful if the operator loses the context.

Compare useful response time, correct handoff and the age of unresolved product questions. Use a manual inbox baseline; the example does not assume automation improves those measures.
