What the official sources establish
Dated product claims appear after the current review window is checked.
Who should investigate it
Small teams with documented contact sources, reliable event data and a specific email-lifecycle requirement.
Investigate a clearly defined subscriber workflow with reviewed event and contact conditions.
Where the fit stops
An order event and a marketing subscription are separate purposes; multiple triggers can broaden entry beyond the intended group.
- An order record silently treated as ongoing marketing permission.
- Several entry events enabled without checking their combined audience.
- A workflow with no operator responsible for exceptions.
Relevant capability areas: Email lifecycle. A product can span several categories; the task is still evaluated separately.
Write the event-to-purpose matrix
Prepare controlled records for each intended trigger, including one record matching two entry events. Inspect the actual audience, filtering and later preference behavior. No account or sending trial has been run for this research.
- List each entry event and the subscription purpose it supports.
- Test each entry condition individually.
- Add a controlled record that satisfies two conditions.
- Check filtering, repeat entry and conditional branches.
- Rehearse preference changes and keep any transactional task separate.
Explain why a record entered

| Record | Evidence needed |
|---|---|
| Event | The matching event and relevant properties |
| Audience | Contact conditions and documented purpose |
| Later state | Actual branch, repeated entry and exit handling |
The entry must remain explainable
Review each selected event, filter and branch with the operator responsible for it. A workflow that admits too many records is not repaired by sending more messages. Keep transactional events and the purpose of subscriber communication distinct, and compare the same exceptions in the current tool.
Questions to take to the vendor
- Which purpose does each entry event serve?
- What happens when one record satisfies two triggers?
- Can transactional and subscriber workflows be inspected separately?
What belongs in the cost check
- Check sending volume, automation contact definitions and required functions.
- Budget other message channels and their account conditions separately.
- Include data cleanup, review and operator coverage.
No price table or universal plan entitlement is published here. Obtain the current quote for the actual account, territory, billing term and actions; include operator time and recovery work.
Before starting a trial
Write the capability missing from the current setup, a representative input, an observable success condition and a stopping rule. Compare the same case in the existing process. Keep the source, owner and exception visible, and use only authorized or clearly marked test material.
